Digitisation of 5000 Newspaper Sheets of the 19th Century
In 2016, the John S. Latsis Public Benefit Foundation, in the framework of its scientific societies support programme, upon request, granted to the Society, the amount of 5,000 EUR for the digitisation of part of its collections. The Society acquired the special equipment and proceeded to digitise some newspapers from its collection (5,000 photographs), in order to prolong the life of the originals and to make their copies accessible to the global research community.
